Bylaws

The SACES Bylaws revisions passed by vote on Oct. 14, 2020 became effective Oct. 15, 2020.

2020 SACES Bylaws Changes: As of October 15, 2020, the SACES Executive Committee revised the SACES bylaws to reflect changes in the officer roles (Article IV), including the graduate student representatives (Article IV.7). The bylaw revisions clarify the members who serve on the Executive Committee and State Presidents Council (Article V), as well as the committees and interest networks and standing committee functions (Article VI). Finally, the revision includes changes to how the Executive Committee will report outcomes of the elections (Article XIII). Members voted September 10 to October 14, 2020 with 88-93% in favor of approving changes for each article.
